What is SOLAR?

SOLAR is the governance token of Solarbeam, the leading DEX on Moonriver by volume. SOLAR is used to incentivize users to stake or lock their assets.

What are Solarbeam vaults?

Solarbeam vaults incentivizes users to lock away their SOLAR for different periods for different rewards. This essentially takes SOLAR out of circulation for a while, reducing the sell pressure.

The higher the lock period of the pool, the higher the APR. If you are planning to hold SOLAR long term, consider locking it in a vault. The longest lock period is 30 days with one pool with no lockup at all!

How to participate?

Go to the Vaults page and make sure your wallet is connected. Connecting your wallet enables the app to view the funds in your account.
Choose the pool that suits your time horizon and input the amount of SOLAR, you want to lock and click on Stake. You may need to Approve the smart contract of the app - the permission to access your SOLAR, if you are using Vault for the first time.
Confirm Staking and the type confirm in the dialog box that appears to send the transaction to the network.

Go to My Vaults to see your staking pools. You can see your holdings and pending rewards on the sidebar to the left.
